2010 08 14 & 15: Saturday & Sunday - "WOEC Kayak Festival"

I've been to the Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre (WOEC) kayak festival for the past 3 years and they are always good fun, well run and take place in a beautiful part of the country.

Although the festival is for four days I just did the weekend and two day long paddles. Saturday was from Ringstead to Lulworth and back, paddling through Bat Hole and Durdle Door as well as exploring one or two caves and doing a bit of rock-hopping along the way. Sunday was from Kimeridge Bay to St Albans Head and back. The scenery was different, grey slate cliffs instead of white chalk, and fewer rocks and caves and a tide race at St Albans Head.
