Water levels were low, "boney" as Neil calls it, which made the rapids slower but more technical, with lots of rocks to avoid. Lover's Leap in particular was challenging down the river's right side, great big boulders in the way and narrow chutes down the sides. Not many paddlers out, possibly as a result of low levels, icy weather, or still hung over from New Year celebrations.

Paddling crew: Nigel, Tom and Sam Barnes, Neil Banwell, Gavin and Aaron Price.

Not many photos taken this time round, too cold to take my hands out of my gloves. Neil used his new headcam but video too large to include here.
