And finally...

I started kayaking in 2006, to keep fit and provide another challenge. It has certainly kept me fit, as kayaks are not the lightest bit of kit to carry around, and certainly proved a challenge. Learning new skills has been non-stop. There are the obviously physical skills as it is a very active sport. But also cerebal challenges, such as tidal planning and weather forecasting for sea-kayaking, as well understanding technical theory, leadership, safety and rescue, first aid for my coaching qualifications.
